Review: Glossier Cloud Paint

Product: Glossier Cloud Paint (Pictured in Haze) ($18 at

Best With: Oily, Dry, Acne-Prone, Sensitive, or Dry skin

Info: One of the buzziest makeup releases recently was the launch of Glossier's version of a cream blush - Cloud Paint. Inspired by New York City sunsets, each of the four colors is meant to blend right into your skin for a fresh, natural flush. So does Cloud Paint live up to the hype?

My Review: This is my first experience using a cream blush, and I have to say this one definitely has lived up to my expectations. I purchased Cloud Paint in Haze which is a super lovely berry color. The blush blends easily into the skin for a very natural flush - as advertised. It can be easy to go overboard with this baby, so less is definitely more. So far I haven't experienced any breakouts as a result of this product and after using it daily in 80+ degree heat and humidity, I'm super impressed with its staying power. Overall, this little tube has become something I reach for every day, whether I'm headed to class or out on the town.

What are the upsides?: Don't be put off by the tiny tube size - this stuff is highly, highly pigmented. You only need the tiniest smudge to make a real impact on your cheeks. The four colors are all beautiful and most of them are suited for a wide range of skin tones. Finally, they are crazy easy and fast to blend on your face, so if you like to keep your makeup routine quick, these might be just the blush for you!
