My Review: Living in an urban area, I am always concerned about the effects pollution is having on my skin. After researching a bit, I found this little mask and after trying it for the first time I was absolutely smitten. I am reluctant to say that anything is my favorite, but this is definitely a contender for my favorite mask ever. I (ignoring the instructions) put a thin layer on my face as the last step of my nightly skincare routine a few nights a week and always wake up with smooth, plump, hydrated, and downright radiant skin. It even somehow cuts down acne inflammation and redness (talk about a miracle). Now, does that mean it’s doing exactly what it claims to? I can’t be sure - but based on the results alone, I’m going to keep on using it anyway.

What are the downsides?: First of all, this is intended to be a mask that you wear overnight, so if you can’t get down with having a rather heavy (and green tinted) product on your face while you sleep, you might want to skip this one. Second, that heavy part is important. It is a very heavy mask. The instructions suggest you put a thick layer on for a short time and then wipe off the excess before bed, but for the sake of not wasting product, you can do what I describe above - just keep in mind that even a thin layer still feels quite heavy. Last, I know that there are a lot of cilantro haters out there and a lot of people who are sensitive to strong scents. This mask has a very strong scent that definitely lingers, so if you’re concerned about it, try getting a sample or smelling it in the store just in case.
