Styling Everlane's Wide Leg Crop Pant
I've been eyeing the Everlane Wide Leg Crop Pants ever since they first came out back in February and promptly sold out. There were good and bad reviews of the pants all over the internet, but what finally convinced me to take a leap of faith when they finally restocked was seeing how Reese from @double3xposure styled them. Now, Reese could probably make anything look cool, but I'm so glad I took the plunge.
Are they the most flattering pants ever (as advertised)? Maybe, maybe not. It's largely going to depend on your body type and height. I'm 5'5 and very curvy, and I love the way these fit on me. They're waist nipping and the perfect length to make my legs look longer than they really are. I found I could size down from my normal size, as the material is pretty stretchy despite being thick. That's the other great thing about them - the material is soft, thick, and completely opaque. They feel light enough to wear in the summertime and warm enough for Spring and Fall.
When it comes to styling them, you can see in the pictures below, these pants can definitely be dressed up or down. They'd look amazing with a graphic tee and a pair of mules (I'm dying for a pair of these Marais ones), and just as great with a nice blouse and heels. If you're someone who strictly sticks to skinny jeans and pants, I highly recommend you try these out, if only for kicks. It's nice to push your boundaries from time to time, and this cut is super trendy right now. I personally am looking forward to getting my hands on a pair of the black ones when they restock in July!
