For the Love of Pink

It has been a super long time since I've done a blog post just on a makeup look. I keep my makeup so minimal most of the time these days that it just hasn't even occurred to me. But the other day I decided to play around a bit with makeup and this was the result! The goal was a super pink-peachy, glowy, juicy look and I am super pleased with how it turned out.

To start, I used the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup as a base. This is all I've been using for photos lately because I dig the coverage level and the overall radiance.

For my cheeks, I used a mixture of Glossier Cloud Paints in Puff and Beam. Puff is a perky pink and Beam is on the peach side, so together they made for the perfect shade. My highlighter is the Maybelline Master Strobing Stick in Medium/Nude Glow, which again I chose for how beautifully it shows up on camera. I never knew until I started taking so many pictures how the camera really can make your makeup disappear - but this highlight stays beautifully visible.

The eyeshadow was possibly my favorite part of this look! I used the Too Faced Just Peachy Palette, which is one of my all time favorites. I used the shade 'Just Peachy' all over the lid and then applied 'Peach Punch' to the outer corner and on my lower lash line. It's a super punchy pink look that I ended up loving.

Eyebrows are the Benefit Goof Proof Pencil and the Hourglass Arch Volumizing Brow Gel. Eyelashes were courtesy of the Taste Tarteist Mascara. And the finishing touch was a swipe of the Glossier Lip Gloss on my lips.

This was so much fun! I think I might have to do more of these type of posts. What do you think?
